Wow! Just attended a wedding last weekend with The Reagan Years on stage. I can honestly say in my 50+ years I have never heard a band at a wedding with such talent! Not only was the music suburb, but their interaction with the crowd got everyone on their feet and dancing. Fantastic!!!

The Reagan Years does not disappoint. We booked them for a corporate event and to say that it was a success is an understatement. I had folks comment that it was the best corporate party they've ever attended - all because of The Reagan Years. Sy was extremely organized and accommodated all of our needs. Sy sacrificed breaks to help us take care of a "spirit competition" and facilitated entertainment - again, even on breaks! The band was incredibly patient and flexible - and I'm pretty sure they had just as much fun as we did. Thank you to the Reagan Years. We will be using you all again!

Sy, I cannot thank you and the rest of the band enough for Saturday night. Without a doubt, it was you guys who made the party what it was. You sounded better than ever. The mix was perfect. Everything not only met, but greatly exceeded our wildest expectations. All of you, especially Glenn, were so gracious in letting a hack like me come up and sit in, and for that you have created a wonderful memory we will always have. Again, thank you so so much for an ultra ultra professional performance. Nancy and I are more than happy to serve as a reference anytime (not that you need it, of course). Please pass on to the rest of the band members how ecstatic we (and everyone who attended) was with your performance. I do hope my friend hires you for their club's member-guest affair, and I am sure that other gigs will result from Saturday's performance. We were extremely happy with you all, in fact every guest was as well. Thank you so so so so much.

1. Band Leader communication with client (song selection process, how easy/difficult to reach leader, knowledge / ability to discuss the engagement with band leader)
I worked closely with Sy and he was info dative, clear and helpful. We spent quite some time going over the tracks that would be played so that I (the bride) would be most happy with the outcome...and I was!

2. Band's performance (accurate with promotional material? band attire/presentation, was production adequate for the setting, etc)
Everyone in the band totally rocked out! Each person in the band contributed In a big way, whether it was vocals, special solos with their instrument or, as I like to say.... "Just rockin out". It was super amazing that we (bride and groom) were asked to sing and dance up on stage. We enjoyed being included and so did out guests.

3. Band flexibility (ability to respond to musical requests or shift in timeline, etc)
Fantastic. Absolutely, fantastic. We feel like The Reagan Years event above and beyond for us, we truly do.

4. Details (song requests, special introduction, etc) that the band promised and did those happen as expected?

It was amazing that the band was able to clear our first song- Glycerine by Bush. It made our evening very social and our first song, we can say in confidence, will be like nobody else's. The introduction and continual talking throughout the sets with and for huge bride and groom were incredible. Everything happened better than expected. We also appreciated the band being able to play our song requests via iPod when the band was on a break.

I think I said it best when I said the band "f@$#ing rocked" I hope that wasn't too crass, but you all were amazing. You made our wedding special and memorable and EVERYONE had a blast. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart. Much love!

Referral - Sept 2012, Corporate Event as The Mixx (multi-decade version of The Reagan Years)

I had the pleasure of working with The Mixx during a corporate event August, 2012. I had hired them to play a 4 hour party that was directly following a convention. Before the event, they provided excellent communication and direction. They took it upon themselves to ensure the venue had the right equipment, relayed information in a very direct and clear manner, and responded quickly to the differences that we needed to account for in the space. They arrived on-time, loaded in and set up quickly and were ready to play. They were flexible with the songs they played, catered to requests, got people out on the dance floor and kept them dancing all night. They were professional in their time offstage and were very courteous to my clients. They went above and beyond when after playing for a solid 1.5 hours straight during their last set, were absolutely willing to keep going after the client requested we not stop this rockin' party!
