Wedding Receptions
The band has performed at many wedding receptions as The Reagan Years and alter-ego called “The Mixx”. As rates go on "wedding bands", the band offers a very competitive rate by allowing the bride and groom to fine tune the service and adjusting the rate.
Although The Reagan Years plays only 80’s music in clubs, you might be interested to know that the band has a broader songlist for private engagements. The band’s play list includes 60’s Van Morrison through today’s P!nk, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Walk The Moon, Lady GaGa, and Miley Cyrus, fun 90's songs like "Tubthumping" by Chumbawumba and party standards like “Play That Funk Music”, "Sweet Home Alabama" and “Brown Eye-Girl”. This is very helpful to cover a wide range of likes at a reception. Let us know the songs, genres that you wanted at your reception and we would tailor the songlist for your event. The Reagan Years will provide live music and professional production including an intelligent light package to compliment any venue.
The band leader will help you schedule band set durations to match the wedding agenda. The band leader coordinates the music for band breaks, cocktail hour, dinner music, etc. A huge digital library of musical styles is available (rock, dance, jazz, piano music, etc) for break music. A fully interactive deejay service can be provided for an additional fee.
Band Leader or designated band member can serve as the Master of Ceremonies and may announce special events during the reception. Unless specified, the band will dress in black slacks, shoes and collared shirt. The Band can perform in tux & gown for an additional fee.
