Sy Seyler
– Drums and lead vocal
Sy continues his role in The Reagan Years
by singing songs behind the drums and fronting the band with sequenced tracks. The “new wave” classics showcase his vocal strengths. Before T.R.Y, Sy played drums in several other original bands such and the Mid-Atlantic heavy metal act, SHOCK LaRue, late 90's college alternative, Aislynn and post - modern alternative (authentic new wave) Return To Zero. Critics and club goers took notice to his abilities and Sy was honored several years in Mid-Atlantic music polls. Back in the day, industry contacts awarded him with endorsements for Vic Firth drumsticks, Slingerland and Stingray drums, PureCussion R.I.M.S. and Geddit Drumwear.
In the Summer of 2006, Sy constructed a Smiths / Morrissey cover band called Girlfriend In A Coma with TRY guitarist, Glenn Riley. Check that out too!
