Carl Haas – Bass and vocals

Carl has taken a longer hiatus from playing music. He and his wife had a baby boy on April 12, 2002 and named him Sean.
Carl had re-joined The Reagan Years campaign in January ‘01. This bass player carries nearly 15 years of experience. His weapon of choice is a 5-string bass for that extra low-end punch it provides. Some of you might remember Carl from the mid-atlantic band Bad Penny. Carl’s influences include Rush, Primus, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Pantera. Try as we might to keep him away from the microphones, occasionally Carl got carried away and did some background vocal work.
Ironic as it may be, Lenny Everett has now replaced Carl. Carl had replaced Lenny in 1997.
